This week, let's shine the spotlight on our featured lash artist, Lanelle Leblanc, known on Instagram as @wispyqueens.   Based in Sacramento, California, Lanelle has honed her skills locally since August 2022. Starting out wasn't easy; she faced challenges with feeling isolated and struggled with the speed of her work. But with persistence and dedicated practice, she overcame these hurdles. Lanelle finds inspiration in herself, taking pride in pursuing her passion and hopes to motivate others to do the same. The support from her clients and peers fuels her motivation, and she's grateful for the recognition of her work. She believes in supporting fellow businesses and appreciates the support she receives in return. Our featured lash artist of the week is Paeyton Love, known as @lashxmexlove.   She hails from St. Robert/Waynesville, Missouri, and received her lash training in Dallas, Texas. With 2 years of lashing experience under her belt, she reflects on her journey and shares some valuable insights. One of Paeyton's initial challenges was building her clientele. However, she overcame this hurdle through unwavering consistency. She diligently showcased her work, even if it was on a mannequin, and made sure to spread the word about her lash services by posting in local Facebook groups. Her dedication and persistence paid off. Her inspiration to become a lash artist stems from her mother, who was a hairdresser. Growing up, she learned the importance of hard work and perseverance, and she applied these principles to her own path as a lash artist, refining her approach along the way. Paeyton's motivation largely comes from her clients, whom she considers the best. Witnessing the newfound confidence her clients gain after their lash sessions brings her immense joy and fuels her determination to continue excelling in her craft. Her advice to aspiring lash artists is simple yet powerful: never give up. She emphasizes the importance of promoting your work, even if you're not entirely satisfied with it at first. Every artist starts somewhere, and there will always be individuals who appreciate your unique style. While the journey may not be easy, the ultimate rewards make it all worthwhile.
